Premier Weihnachtsoratorium in 2017

I had a happy and fantastic experience of taking part of Bach's Christmas Oratorio in Niederkassel.

It was organised by Claudia & Fiedemann Immer whom I always love to make music together with. 

It seems these concerts were the very first performances of the Christmas Oratorio in Niederkassel. 

I am very honored to be asked to join in this project as continuo player. 

The orchestra was put together, of course, by historical instruments, and it was in a minimum number of participants - one player to each part. It sounded really fantastic, and we had such a great togetherness in the music. 

I was really amazed, Claudia's fantastic choir leading and great passion, she even sang "Der Engel" as soloist, herself. 

We all had such a wonderful enthusiasm and sympathy between us.

第二アドベント、奇しくもケルン付近は大雪。

コンサート会場へ向かう道中は難儀したけれど、２日間に渡り

バッハのクリスマスオラトリオを演奏する素晴らしい機会を得る事が出来た。

コンサートは、世界的バロックトランペット奏者・フリーデマン・インマーとその伴侶であるクラウディア・インマー、演奏するのが毎回非常に楽しみな素晴らしい音楽家（美しいソプラノで合唱の指導者でもある）によって企画され、どうやらニーダーカッセルでは、始めてのクリスマスオラトリオ公演だったようで、通奏低音奏者としてこの企画に参加できたことは非常に光栄なことでもあった。

オーケストラは、もちろん、ピリオド楽器・各パートを一人が受け持つというミニマム編成。

教会のアコースティックも手伝って、この編成による響きは素晴らしく

また、室内楽のような音楽クオリティーを実現出来たのは大きな喜びであった。

音楽家同士が、心から音楽を共有しているという感覚は

何にも代え難い大きな価値があるものだと、私は常々感じていて

まさに今回は、そういった感覚を体感出来た貴重な会でもあった。

今回の公演で、特に驚かされたのは、企画・指揮・ソリストという、２足・３足のわらじを見事に履きこなした、クラウディアである。常に前向きな姿勢を忘れず、その底なしのパワーと情熱には圧倒されるものがあった。彼女の演じきった天使は、実に秀逸で、生涯忘れられない演奏となるだろう。

何より、素晴らしかったのは、私たち音楽家が同じ目的と共感を持ち

このタイトなスケジュールでの公演を乗り切った事である。

素晴らしい経験に、心から感謝！！！

Aus Alt mach Neu

After the life concert of fortepiano, came back to the harpsichord. 

To be multi-keyboardist, my professional activities are a bit busy ;)

Anyway I love to play, so don't mind to have concerts.

This time was with Aachen Sinfonieorchestra- Aachen is one of the my favourite place, somehow I had many nice experiences there, although  a long way from Köln, still love to work there.

怒涛のように過ぎ去ったフォルテピアノリサイタルの後、
チェンバロの世界にまた戻って来た。
何れにしても私は演奏するのが心底好きなので、
コンサートがあるというのは単純に幸せな事であり、これに勝るものはない。
今回は、アッヘン・シンフォニーオーケストラでコンティヌオのお仕事。
アッヘンは私の好きな街の一つで音楽家としても良い経験をたくさんさせてもらっているので、ケルンからはかなり距離があって、リハーサルに来るのも一苦労であるのだが、それでもなお、ここで演奏できるの非常に嬉しい。

What was special in this time. We had a fantastic solist Sergey Malov.

He played C.Ph.E.Bach's cello concerto on Violoncello da spalla which extremely interesting, 

and Mozart's Violin concerto (Alla turca ). 

His musicianship and creativity made people be just comma! 

It was really amazing performances, and unforgettable cadences-that was great!

I really enjoyed to make music together ( which sometimes very hard to do in orchestra).

Last day, after Mozart, he played a little piece of Bach as anchor.

It was my special emotional piece. When he started to play, my heart has just stopped.

Grande Sergey! I was deeply moved by whole thing.

So....will never forget this little job.

今回は、私にとって特別嬉しい経験となった。

なぜなら、素晴らしいヴァイオリン奏者・セルゲイ・マーロフがゲスト演奏家だったからだ。彼は、エマヌエル・バッハのチェロ協奏曲、（ヴィオロンチェッロ・ダ・スパラでの演奏、非常に興味深く、また素晴らしい演奏だった。）モーツアルトのヴァイオリンコンチェルト・トルコ風を演奏。彼の音楽性・創造性は観客を圧倒し、特に彼のカデンツは感動的で、これほど自由で説得力のある演奏はかつて経験した事がないほどであった。

オーケストラの中で演奏するというのは、時に音楽家としての喜びを得るのが非常に難しかったり、同じ音楽を共有するという感覚を全く得られないことがある。

しかし、今回は、セルゲイの主導で彼の実現させたい音楽に寄り添う事ができたし、一緒に演奏して本当に楽しかった。

最後の日、ヴァイオリンコンチェルトの後、アンコールとして

彼はバッハのソロソナタからアンダンテを演奏した。

この曲は、私の音楽人生の中でもかなり思い入れのあるものだったので

彼が演奏を始めた途端、思わず息を飲んだ。

偉大なセルゲイ。

この仕事を私はきっと忘れない。

Music camp with am Rhein.

Back from Norway, just before starting hardest practising period,

my lovely friend Yoshimi visited me to have music jam.

Since she moved to Swiss, we could't play much together, we we so missing each other.

She brought with her handed of music, and we just played through everything.

It was truly lovely with good friend to make music together in pure enthusiast.

And of course, in summer time, we drink and chat forever!

Dear Yoshi, Thank you for your visit. Looking forward our next session!

ノルウェーから戻り、リサイタルへ向けてのハードな練習に入る前に
私の素敵な友人・良美さんが家を訪れたくれた。
彼女がスイスに移って以来、一緒に演奏する機会ががくんと減り
お互いに存在を恋しいと思っているところだったので、
これは非常に嬉しい訪問であった。

彼女は、たくさんの楽譜とともにやってきて、
ほぼ一週間、朝から晩までセッション。
全ての楽譜を弾ききった！
もちろん、女子がそろえば女子会。
二人だったけど、一緒に飲んで食べて、よくしゃべった。
来てくれてありがとう。

Plucking night!

Rada's great evening. 

She made a fantastic concert for her graduate of Konzertexamen.

First part was modern contemporary works, and second half was barock- our time music ;)

I must say, that was a quite luxury concert. She brought 3 difference type of instruments and played really wide repertory. There were full of people to came for her, and she responded perfectly.

Her Mandolin sounds enthused the whole audience and thunderous applause emitted!!

Congratulations dear Rada !

ラダの素晴らしい夜。
国家演奏家資格取得のためのリサイタル、彼女は光り輝いていた。
第一部はロマン〜現代音楽の作品で、モダンマンドリンを使ったソロ
ハープとギターとのトリオなどが演奏された。
第二部はバロック、私たちの出番。イタリアものを中心とした技巧的な作品の数々に聴衆は酔いしれ、熱狂的な拍手を送り続けた。

おめでとうラダ。
私たちは皆、あなたを誇りに思っているよ。

The fine art again !

It is a quite unique duo, the "Historical Mandoline and Keyboard Instruments". 

The repertoire is also quite special, I appreciate we could meet and make music together.

とてもユニークなデュオ、マンドリンとフォルテピアノ。

レパートリーもかなり特殊である。



今回はベートヴェンの小品とフンメルのグランソナタ。



二回目の公演とあって、音大のひどい楽器にも慣れ、良い演奏ができたと自負している。


ラダに出会えた事、そしてともに音楽できる事は私にとって幸運であった。



そういえば、コンサートの後、ラダがフェイスブックに書き込んでいた。

The first harpsichord workshop with young stars!

By chance, I could give a little workshop for the young talented Japanese pianists. 

They came to Germany as exchanging program for young artists, 

and they were all keen interesting players.

Although the conditions were very difficult to manage

-unbearble hear- we had a great time to work together. 

They are "the hope" in our world!

ひょんなきっかけで、日本の若い才能あふれるピアニストたちを招いて
チェンバロワークショップを行うことになった。
彼らは若者のためのExchangeprogramでドイツに演奏旅行に来ていて
１４歳から１９歳という年齢にもかかわず、非常に興味深い演奏家たちであった。

コンディションは、信じられないような暑さで素晴らしいとは言い難かったものの
私たちはともに素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができた。

彼らは、この世界のまさに希望だと思う。
素直にそのまま音楽を愛し続けて欲しい。

Pizzicato Barocco

.......had a little concert with fantastic atmosphere at the tiny city, end of Aachen.

This gave me great energy for the next :)))))

私たちは、アッヘンのはずれにあるとても雰囲気の良い小さな町でコンサートを行った。

この事は、次のコンサートに向けて素晴らしいエネルギーを与えてくれた。

Although it was duo concert, Mandoline and Cembalo, we got a funny leaflet.

This also became our nice memory.

このコンサートはラダ知人のオーガナイズで
チェンバロとマンドリンのデュオコンサートだったのだが
ホテルのオーナーは何故かチェンバロコンサートだと勘違い。

ともあれ、ラダとのコンサートはいつも楽しい。
ありがとう。

Finalist Kano !

I took a part of the international early music competition in Japan,

 as you know I am not anymore in a competition age, but I was asked to come there for a friend.

He is Kano, met him already 6 years ago in Norway. 

Both of us, first in Norway ...and I remembered very well, the day when  I arrived to Trondheim. 

Whole Norway was just in panic because of the horrible mass-shooting - many children were killed by a crazy man. And the whole country was just a mess.

So it was quite a memorable situation, as the first time in Norway, and during course we spoke a lot, and helped each other. Since then, we meet every year at this course. 

(At the same time I met my "destiny" person, but this is another story ;))

When Kano asked me to take part, of course I said "Yes". It was no-reason to refuse him.

We worked together several times in Germany and fly to Japan. 

I was expecting this competition -better organising as Japanese, but it was just a mess!

We could not have any rehearsal, no try out of harpsichord, even for the final stage, we had to play with out any acoustic-check. The whole organisation was slightly a pity,

 but he went at least to the final stage. It made me relived.

Although he didn't get any prize, I believe his performance made a nice impact to the audience, because he knows how to enjoy music. 

I would say " Congratulations! Well done" and wish him a lovely future in his life!!

Anyway, thank you Kano for giving me the opportunity to play together in Japan!

ご縁があって、今年は山梨で毎年行われている古楽コンクールに参加してきた。
ご存知のように、私はすでにコンクールの年齢ではないのだが、
私の友人である今田利くんに伴奏を頼まれたのである。

私たちの出会いはノルウェー・６年前に遡る。
お互い初めてのノルウェーであったのだが、その年は実に衝撃的であった。
私がトロンハイムに到着した時、ノルウェーじゅうがただただパニックだった。何故ならば、気の狂った若い男が銃を持ち、若者たちの集まるキャンプ会場で乱射し、無差別殺人を行ったからである。あらゆる交通機関が麻痺し、国全てがまさに混乱であった。
この忘れがたい状況の中、私たちは古楽コースに参加。
お互い、つたない英語でコニュニケーションに問題があったため
助け合い、一緒に演奏し、また様々な事を話し合った。
以来、私たちは毎年、ノルウェーで再会している。
（この年、私は私の運命を変える事になった人物に出会うのだが
それはまだ別のお話。。。）

その彼に伴奏を頼まれたとあれば、ノーと言うはずもなく
ドイツで数回リハーサルをした後、日本で合流した。

日本のコンクールということで、私としてはきちんとしたオーガナイズを期待していたのだが、残念ながらイタリアを思い起こさせる状況であった。
ステージは、予選と本選のみ、リハーサルなし、音響チェックなし、正直、こんなめちゃくちゃなコンクールはないな、、、というのが感想である。

ともあれ、利君はファイナルに進出。
８０人の中からファイナリストに選ばれたのだから、私もほっとした。

残念ながら、賞は取れなかったものの、彼の演奏は良い印象を与えたと思う。
彼の素晴らしいところは、音楽を楽しむ事を知っているという事だ。
だから、私は彼に心から賞賛を送りたい。
おめでとう利君。
素晴らしい未来があなたを待っていますように。

Meeting A&A in Japan!

It was a wonderful surprise to meet lovely friends at an unexpected place. 

I missed their concert, but I know A&A cembalo duo by Anna and Anastasia, 

fascinated the audience as usual ;)

Sorry I couldn't resist to tell you about our accidental reunion in Japan.

なんというサプライズ、友人に思いもよらない場所で出会うとは！
私は、彼らのコンサートは聞けなかったが、彼女達を知る限り
素晴らしいコンサートを行ったと自信を持っていえる。
聴衆は彼女たちの虜になったことだろう。

Flute festival in München.

Short stay, but nice trip to München. 

It was quite intensive experiences. 

Not only music, people, place,atmosphere..etc..etc..

I could enjoy everything, even a little troubles.

We performed at a.m.10:00, this was early time record for me!

Tobias presented "Traverso" in his lively way to the audience who are living in the modern flute world.

It was not easy, must say, quite a tricky! 

But he has done really great.

Thank you for asking me to play with you. 

We had a great fun to make music together ;)

Beethoven "am Rhein"

The first trial our Beethoven project. 

For my Konzertexamen-recital, I asked lovely Amarilis to play together.

She has great enthusiast about playing Beethoven with authentic instruments.

Although we were both, almost sight-reading, however had a great time.
