Christmas with kölner family & new guest.

Christmas, my partners daughter came back with new member of family.

Her name is Jake, one of the daughters cat.

When she came, people thought she is boy and gave her boy's name.

She was sweet and quite cat. We all loved her.

Meantime, we ate a lot, played game, and chatted.

Hope all had great time here.

クリスマスは毎年、パートナーの娘たちが帰って来る。
しかし、今年はいつもと違う。
新しい家族の一員になったジェイクがやってきたからだ。
男の子の名前を持つこの子猫、初めて家にやってきた時
だれもが男の子だと思ったそうだ。
後日、獣医を訪ねると、女の子であることが判明したが
名前はそのままになった。

初めて訪れる家にも関わらず、とてもおとなしく賢いジェイク。
終始、私たちの人気者であった。

今年もよく食べ、恒例のゲーム、そしてよく話した。
皆が良い時間を過ごせたことを願う。

Premier Weihnachtsoratorium in 2017

I had a happy and fantastic experience of taking part of Bach's Christmas Oratorio in Niederkassel.

It was organised by Claudia & Fiedemann Immer whom I always love to make music together with. 

It seems these concerts were the very first performances of the Christmas Oratorio in Niederkassel. 

I am very honored to be asked to join in this project as continuo player. 

The orchestra was put together, of course, by historical instruments, and it was in a minimum number of participants - one player to each part. It sounded really fantastic, and we had such a great togetherness in the music. 

I was really amazed, Claudia's fantastic choir leading and great passion, she even sang "Der Engel" as soloist, herself. 

We all had such a wonderful enthusiasm and sympathy between us.

第二アドベント、奇しくもケルン付近は大雪。

コンサート会場へ向かう道中は難儀したけれど、２日間に渡り

バッハのクリスマスオラトリオを演奏する素晴らしい機会を得る事が出来た。

コンサートは、世界的バロックトランペット奏者・フリーデマン・インマーとその伴侶であるクラウディア・インマー、演奏するのが毎回非常に楽しみな素晴らしい音楽家（美しいソプラノで合唱の指導者でもある）によって企画され、どうやらニーダーカッセルでは、始めてのクリスマスオラトリオ公演だったようで、通奏低音奏者としてこの企画に参加できたことは非常に光栄なことでもあった。

オーケストラは、もちろん、ピリオド楽器・各パートを一人が受け持つというミニマム編成。

教会のアコースティックも手伝って、この編成による響きは素晴らしく

また、室内楽のような音楽クオリティーを実現出来たのは大きな喜びであった。

音楽家同士が、心から音楽を共有しているという感覚は

何にも代え難い大きな価値があるものだと、私は常々感じていて

まさに今回は、そういった感覚を体感出来た貴重な会でもあった。

今回の公演で、特に驚かされたのは、企画・指揮・ソリストという、２足・３足のわらじを見事に履きこなした、クラウディアである。常に前向きな姿勢を忘れず、その底なしのパワーと情熱には圧倒されるものがあった。彼女の演じきった天使は、実に秀逸で、生涯忘れられない演奏となるだろう。

何より、素晴らしかったのは、私たち音楽家が同じ目的と共感を持ち

このタイトなスケジュールでの公演を乗り切った事である。

素晴らしい経験に、心から感謝！！！

First Advent

You know, I am not christian.

But celebrating of  Christmas is always lovely thing. 

So.....I do, advent candle...and bake cookies especially for my partner.

Sometimes I ask him, how was his childhood, what his mother made for family.

He talk such a beautiful story of his family and I love to hear.

At least I want to make something for him to feel familiar.

We had snow in the morning. 

It was cold, somehow lovely.

私はクリスチャンじゃないけれど、クリスマスシーズンはなんだかワクワクするし、やっぱり皆のように祝いたいと思ってしまう。

だから、ヨーロッパの慣習通り、アドヴェントキャンドルを作り、クッキーを焼いてその日を迎える。でもこれはほとんどパートナーの為。

時々、私は彼に尋ねる。

あなたの子供の頃のクリスマスはどうだった？お母さんはどうやってたの？

彼の暖かい子供の時代の話を聞くのは大好きだ。とても暖かな良い家族。

行事を大切にしながら、惜しみない愛情を子供たちに注いでいた。

自分の子供時代も省みつつ、

彼もまた優しい暖かな子供時代を過ごしたのだとほんわかするのだ。

奇しくも、朝は雪だった。

寒い、でも素敵。
