Music camp with am Rhein.

Back from Norway, just before starting hardest practising period,

my lovely friend Yoshimi visited me to have music jam.

Since she moved to Swiss, we could't play much together, we we so missing each other.

She brought with her handed of music, and we just played through everything.

It was truly lovely with good friend to make music together in pure enthusiast.

And of course, in summer time, we drink and chat forever!

Dear Yoshi, Thank you for your visit. Looking forward our next session!

ノルウェーから戻り、リサイタルへ向けてのハードな練習に入る前に
私の素敵な友人・良美さんが家を訪れたくれた。
彼女がスイスに移って以来、一緒に演奏する機会ががくんと減り
お互いに存在を恋しいと思っているところだったので、
これは非常に嬉しい訪問であった。

彼女は、たくさんの楽譜とともにやってきて、
ほぼ一週間、朝から晩までセッション。
全ての楽譜を弾ききった！
もちろん、女子がそろえば女子会。
二人だったけど、一緒に飲んで食べて、よくしゃべった。
来てくれてありがとう。

Norway summer course in 2017

Always returning to Norway in the summer, such a lovely routine. 

Intensive music making and live together. 

We enjoy life in Sund and work together almost without sleep!

This year was a bit special for me, not only because of Stain-way concert, 

but also have done Chamber-music organising. 

This was quite challenging-job, 

and I am quite proud of myself what I could have done for people. 

So, I am happy in 2017, too !!

毎年夏にノルウェーに戻ってくる、素晴らしいルーティンである。
音楽をともに作るという共通の目的の元、
皆で同じ屋根の下に暮らし、同じものを食べ、集中して学ぶ。
私たちは心底、ここでの一週間、共に学ぶ事をほぼ眠らずに楽しんでいる。

今年は、私にとって少し特別な年であった、
コースのオープニングにスタンウエイでのコンサートを行ったことだけではない
通奏低音奏者として働くと同時に、室内楽のオーガナイズを仰せつかったからである。
これは、かなり厄介な仕事で
皆に幸せにコースを終えて欲しい私としてはほぼ寝ずに働いた。
手前味噌であるが、このコースに今回私が貢献した内容は誇りに思っている。
そして、今年も実に幸せであった。

and....Me and Ketil did again 3 hands + 2 feet performance on Wagner organ.

そして、私とシェティエル、フェスティバルでのマラソンコンサートで３手２足のオルガンパフォーマンスを行った。トロンハイム大聖堂の素晴らしいワーグナーオルガンを少なからず演奏できた事は、もちろん幸せであったし、単純に楽しい思い出である。

The Barock on double Steinways!

This was the most particular experience in my life.

We gave "Duo concert on Steinway" at the early music summer course's opening!

Because director of Folkschool in Sund - where we make every year fantastic summer course,
bought a new second-hand Steinway.

Since they have been helping us, we thought this is a great chance to give back to them something nice. And what was so meaningful about this concert, Ketil's father who have been also director of this school, he bought also a Steinway for this school-culture.
Now they have 2 Steinways, why not make Duo concert !!

With Ketil's wonderful moderation, we have made a special concert.

I must say, it was not easy to play
( I mean, quite tricky to shift the technique from harpsichord to Steinway! )
However it was a fantastic concert.

これは、しごく特殊なコンサート経験である。
ノルウェー古楽サマーコースのオープニングに、スタンウエイ２台を使ったコンサートを仰せつかったからである。古楽のコースで、スタンウエイが登場する事自体とんでもないことであるのに、ましてやチェンバリスト２人がそれをやらなければならないなんて、前代未聞の事態。

事の始まりは、毎年講習会を行っているスンド・フォークスクールの校長がラジオ局で素晴らしい状態の新古スタンウエイを発見し、購入したことに始まる。
購入後、校長はシェティルに電話、実はシェティルの父親もかつてこの学校の校長を務めており、彼と同じように学校の文化交流、情操教育の発展のために皆の反対を押し切ってスタンウエイを購入したという経緯があった。
良い状態のスタンウエイが２台揃ったのだから、是非とも２台のスタンウエイを使ったコンサートをやって欲しいという、現校長の強い願いを受けて、様々な感情はさておき、『バロックコンサート・2台のスタンウエイで』と銘打ち
コンサートは決行された。

プログラムはピアノ経験の長い私がほぼ受け持ち
エマヌエルバッハのファンタジー、トリオソナタ。
そして、シェティルとフーガの技巧より抜粋で数曲、フリーデマンの２台チェンバロのためのコンチェルトを演奏した。正直、チェンバロの仕事が待っている状態で、
リハなしピアノのコンサートは容易ではない。しかしコンサートは大成功であった。

チャレンジさせてもらえた事に心より感謝。

Plucking night!

Rada's great evening. 

She made a fantastic concert for her graduate of Konzertexamen.

First part was modern contemporary works, and second half was barock- our time music ;)

I must say, that was a quite luxury concert. She brought 3 difference type of instruments and played really wide repertory. There were full of people to came for her, and she responded perfectly.

Her Mandolin sounds enthused the whole audience and thunderous applause emitted!!

Congratulations dear Rada !

We all are very proud of you.

ラダの素晴らしい夜。
国家演奏家資格取得のためのリサイタル、彼女は光り輝いていた。
第一部はロマン〜現代音楽の作品で、モダンマンドリンを使ったソロ
ハープとギターとのトリオなどが演奏された。
第二部はバロック、私たちの出番。イタリアものを中心とした技巧的な作品の数々に聴衆は酔いしれ、熱狂的な拍手を送り続けた。

おめでとうラダ。
私たちは皆、あなたを誇りに思っているよ。

The 70th !!

........reminiscing about yesterday's concert. 

I am still happy to think about it.

You know, playing Musical offering is already something special for us. 

But I could offer this work for my better half's 70's anniversary in his own home turf. 

That was really great for me. 

Thank you for the opportunity, I will never forget my 13th times' performance of Ricercare 3 ;) 

That's a life piece.

昨日のコンサートを思い起こすと、未だに幸せな気持ちになる。
音楽の捧げ物を演奏するという事は、それだけで特別な経験であるが
それ以上に今回は、私のパートナー・シェティルの７０歳の誕生日をコンサートという形で彼のホームタウン・トロンハイムで祝えたという事で、特に思い出深いものとなった。

私たちのコンサートはリングエ・音楽博物館で行われているコンサートシリーズのオープニングであった。私の担当はリチェルカーレ３（ソロ・オープニング）カノン（トラベルソとの共演）二台チェンバロで、リチェルカーレ６とフーガの技法であった。

Happy birthday, dear Ketil.

誕生日おめでとう、シェティル。
ともに音楽や人生を分かち合う事ができて、とても嬉しい。

The fine art again !

It is a quite unique duo, the "Historical Mandoline and Keyboard Instruments". 

The repertoire is also quite special, I appreciate we could meet and make music together.

とてもユニークなデュオ、マンドリンとフォルテピアノ。

レパートリーもかなり特殊である。



今回はベートヴェンの小品とフンメルのグランソナタ。



二回目の公演とあって、音大のひどい楽器にも慣れ、良い演奏ができたと自負している。


ラダに出会えた事、そしてともに音楽できる事は私にとって幸運であった。



そういえば、コンサートの後、ラダがフェイスブックに書き込んでいた。

The first harpsichord workshop with young stars!

By chance, I could give a little workshop for the young talented Japanese pianists. 

They came to Germany as exchanging program for young artists, 

and they were all keen interesting players.

Although the conditions were very difficult to manage

-unbearble hear- we had a great time to work together. 

They are "the hope" in our world!

ひょんなきっかけで、日本の若い才能あふれるピアニストたちを招いて
チェンバロワークショップを行うことになった。
彼らは若者のためのExchangeprogramでドイツに演奏旅行に来ていて
１４歳から１９歳という年齢にもかかわず、非常に興味深い演奏家たちであった。

コンディションは、信じられないような暑さで素晴らしいとは言い難かったものの
私たちはともに素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができた。

彼らは、この世界のまさに希望だと思う。
素直にそのまま音楽を愛し続けて欲しい。
